Durham Tech has partnered with North Carolina State University for the NC State Community College Collaboration, or C3, program. The pathway will guarantee admission to NC State to eligible students.

The program is designed for students from a low-to-moderate income background.

Students start the program at Durham Tech but are simultaneously admitted as a non-degree studies student at NC State. Students will work to earn their Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or Associate of Engineering degree at Durham Tech. Students must have completed less than 30 hours of college work and have the ability to attend Durham Tech full-time.

NC State also provides academic and financial aid advising for students during their time at Durham Tech and prepares them for a successful transition to NC State and timely completion of their bachelor’s degree.

Those who complete their associate’s degree with at least a 3.0 grade point average will be transferred.
