Durham Tech has changed email systems, moving from Gmail (@connect.durhamtech.edu) to Microsoft 365 (@durhamtech.edu). Some new students and returning students continue to have issues logging in.
If you are having difficulty logging in:
- Verify your student email address. With the move to Microsoft, there is a small but important difference. We dropped the “connect” part of the email address. For example, if your email address was smithj1234@connect.durhamtech.edu, it is now smithj1234@durhamtech.edu.
- To log in with your new email address, visit https://www.office.com/. Your password remains the same.
- Your password is the same password you use for Canvas and Self-Service.
If you are encountering any problems, contact helpdesk@durhamtech.edu. If it is after hours, you can receive assistance by phone, chat, or online through the Canvas Help Desk.
