Announcements
Changes will take effect in February 2025 that will affect College admissions and enrollment.
The Durham Tech admissions policy update is designed to align the College with the State Board of Community Colleges’ code. Prospective students will be admitted to the College based on the new criteria – students who are legal residents over 18 with a high school credential or are legal residents 16 to 18 with an education agency or have been out of school at least six months. They still must fill out the CFNC application, but prospective students no longer need to provide transcripts.
For enrollment, programs may have specific requirements that students must meet to be accepted.
The changes should provide easier access for prospective students to enroll.
For additional information, please reference Policy 1.1.
Are you interested in taking courses online? Durham Tech still has seats available for synchronous online courses in Spring 2025. These online courses can be identified by the "G" in their section number, for example, MAT-152-071AG and PSY-150-072G.
