Tutoring services are offered on the Main Campus in Building 1, Room 1-149. Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend making an appointment to make sure you see one of the tutors as soon as you come in.

Now Offering Online and In-Person Tutoring

The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) department continues to offer this specialized tutoring/lab space for all students who do not speak US English as their first language. This lab is staffed by instructors in the EAP department who are trained in teaching English to speakers of other languages. Tutoring is free, and students have unlimited time in the in-person lab. No appointment is required, but those with appointments will take priority over drop-ins, so advanced appointments are recommended.

Tutors will help students understand their online assignments, projects, and essays. In addition, students can receive help with presentations, technology, or general questions. All students whose first language is not US English are welcome in the lab.

If you forget to make an appointment, it is okay! Come by the lab and check with the tutors to see if they have immediate openings. If they are with someone, they can schedule your appointment for you.
