This program is designed to create a standardized framework for supervisors to work at Durham Tech. It uses a humanistic approach aligned with the Durham Tech learning competencies involving not only the operational aspects of being a supervisor but also the other aspects that include social, intellectual and practical skills required to be a supervisor.

2. Effective Communication

  • Group A – May 23, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • Group B - May 23, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

3. Supervisory Standards

  • Group A – May 28, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • Group B - May 28, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

4. Leading Effective Teams

  • Group A – June 11, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • Group B – June 11, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Participants completing all the workshops in the series will earn a badge reflecting the competencies they have gained.
