President Buxton's statement on Katie Loovis, Executive Director of the NC Community Colleges Foundation

“Congratulations to the NC Community College Foundation on its hiring of Katie Loovis as executive director. I have had the privilege of working with Katie both in her role at the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber and in her board service with the Durham Tech Foundation. One thing I have learned: Katie Loovis gets things done. North Carolina’s 58 community colleges are fortunate to have her working on our behalf to support us and the students we serve across North Carolina.”
