Skin protects our bodies, and skincare specialists make it their business to make sure that vital body part stays well groomed.
In general, they provide skincare treatments to faces and bodies to enhance their client's appearance. Electrologists and laser hair removal specialists are examples of this type of specialist.
The Esthetician Technology program at Durham Tech allow its participants to gain intensive training in the areas of facials, hair removal, and makeup application. Students from this department work with actual clients in the College’s Esthetics Technology clinic. Esthetician Technology is part of Continuing Education’s Cosmetic Arts department.
