These experts plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor security measures to protect computer networks and information. Their jobs may also entail developing plans to safeguard computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure; determining when to update virus software; and keeping track of violations of computer security procedures.
