Durham Tech employee devices will be upgraded to Windows 11 starting on January 19. As part of this upgrade, your device will be:
- Enrolled in Microsoft Intune for modern device management and enhanced security.
- Upgraded to Windows 11, offering a refreshed interface, improved performance, and new productivity features.
- Configured for OneDrive for Business, enabling automatic backup and sync of your Desktop, Documents, and Pictures folders.
- Updated to Office 365, providing access to the latest versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and more.
What you can expect:
- Update Notifications: You may receive prompts to restart your device to complete updates.
- Security Enhancements: Some settings may be updated to align with our security standards.
- Cloud Integration: OneDrive and Office 365 will make it easier to access and collaborate on files from anywhere.
