Student Communications
ConnectCenter and Welcome Desk
Are you unsure of whom to contact with a question or even where you should start? Durham Tech’s ConnectCenter and Welcome Desk are staffed by knowledgeable students who will assist you with any question that you may have regarding Durham Tech.

You may reach a student communication assistant using one of following ways:

  1. Call 919-536-7200 and select  “0” (zero);
  2. Email studentcommunications@durhamtech.edu;
  3. Chat with us online (use the chat box at the right); or
  4. Visit the Wynn Center Welcome Desk (located in the lobby).
We are available to assist you during the following hours:

*When classes are not in session, the ConnectCenter and Welcome Desk close at 5 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The ConnectCenter and Welcome Desk are not open when the college is closed.

Student Communication Assistants
The ConnectCenter is staffed by knowledgeable and experienced students who answer questions via phone from the general public and students. The student communication assistants also answer questions from walk-in visitors at the Wynn Center Welcome Desk. Student communication assistants answer questions related to Durham Tech service, procedures, programs, deadlines, and terminology. They also assist students with the set-up of student ConnectMail and WebAdvisor accounts.

Need a campus tour?  Student communication assistants conduct campus tours as well. View campus tour hours and schedule a tour.
