Small Business Center Resources

The Resource Center in the Small Business Center (SBC) has business books, magazines, newspapers, and other literature filled with valuable information on various business topics, industries, and the local community. The Resource Center (open 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday – Thursday) is also a thriving and inviting environment for entrepreneurs needing a quiet spot to work on their businesses.

Information boards located at the SBC provide information about upcoming entrepreneurial events provided by SBC and other organizations within the community. For information purposes only, SBC also provides several methods for delivering information about resources, goods, and services for small businesses within the community, such as accounting, graphic designs, and legal services.

Theme-focused special events offer clients and other constituents the opportunity to learn from industry experts through panel discussions and one-on-one sessions. For example, at NC LEAP Day, entrepreneurs talk privately to business and intellectual property attorneys for 30 minutes at no charge.
