American Management Association (AMA) Certificate Programs
Durham Technical Community College, in cooperation with Flexstudy.com/American Management Association (AMA), is offering Certificate Programs in Business Management, Human Resources, Quality Improvement, Administrative Assistant, and Finance and Accounting, Customer Satisfaction, Manufacturing Management, and Business Communication. These courses are the same as available through the American Management Association Communications (AMACOM) Self-Study program and are world-recognized for their ability to meet training and development needs. You can fine-tune your present skills, learn new ones, and enrich your career with a flexible learning plan that fits your schedules, strengths, budget, and career goals. Each course is only $75.

The courses generate Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits with AMA recognition. Depending on the selected certificate program, you can earn your Durham Tech and AMA certificates in six months and only five courses!

Courseware is delivered online, providing for private, self-paced, individualized study as well as learning and self-evaluation through in-text exercises. Paralleling a business school course of study, the curriculum provides practical information for working professionals who, on their own time and at their own pace, want to continue their education.

Courses begin monthly on the third Thursday and last for eight weeks. You have the flexibility of registering for one course at a time.
