The Center for Academic Excellence (CAE), located in room 1310 in the Phail Wynn, Jr. Student Services Center, offers students a number of alternatives to the traditional classroom setting for education and provides academic support through tutorial services, workshops, and materials.

All of our tutorial services and workshops are free; tuition is charged for students who register for self-paced math special courses. For placement test preparation, visit ACT's COMPASS web site.

There are several computer labs on Durham Tech's campus that students can use. All labs offer Internet access, and lab monitors are on duty to help you with computer questions. Labs will be closed on Durham Tech holidays.
