Durham Technical Community College is excited to offer quality courses on the following hot topics:

American Management Association – $75

The AMA (American Management Association) Online Certificate in Quality Improvement continues to be offered through Durham Tech. Courses required for the certificate are as follows:

  • Fundamentals of Statistical Process Control
  • Gaining Competitive Advantage with Shared Leadership Teams
  • ISO 9001: 2000 – Making the Transition
  • Understanding and Implementing ISO 140001
  • Total Quality Management

Note:  Starting dates for DTCC Flexstudy.com/AMA online courses are as follows: August 19, September 16, October 21, and November 18.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification – $1,499

Learn how to link and use the best concepts of Lean and Six Sigma, the two most power continuous improvement tools currently available. Achieve breakthrough improvements in quality and productivity with reducing inventory, lead-time, and cost. The concepts of Value-Based project prioritization, Six Sigma quality, and Lean process speed are synthesized into an integrated and logical structure that applies to any company or process. This course blends classroom instruction with 30 hours of required online assignments.
