The GED diploma is the legal equivalent of a traditional high school diploma and serves the same purpose in meeting most college admission and job requirements. Students may take courses to prepare for the battery of Official GED® Tests (reading, social studies, science, math and writing).
Classes are offered in traditional and lab settings as well as online. In some settings, students are able to work at their own pace. Students must pay a one-time $7.50 fee before taking the GED tests.
