Walk-in advising dates and times for Fall Semester 2010 are available for the following:
New degree, diploma, or certificate program students exempt from ConnectSession*;
New visiting students exempt from ConnectSession*;
Returning visiting students; and
Students who already attended a Fall Semester 2010 ConnectSession.
Admitted students with assigned advisors who are not on campus this summer.
*completed 12 or more transferrable credits of college-level course work
If you are a new student and have not completed 12 or more transferrable credits of college-level course work, you must attend a ConnectSession. If you are a returning admitted program student, you need to meet with your assigned advisor. Walk-in advising dates and times are available for returning visiting students, students who already attended a Fall Semester 2010 ConnectSession, and new students who are exempt from ConnectSession. |

All students must complete an enrollment application prior to advising and registration. Completing an enrollment application creates your student ID number, which is needed to register for classes. |

All students must satisfy course prerequisites. |

Bring your copies of placement test scores, transcripts, and other documents. Create a folder with personal copies of your placement test scores, your letter of acceptance (if applicable), and any previous college transcripts you might have. Unofficial copies are acceptable. Do not assume that the college has scores or transcripts already available in our computer system. Bring this folder to advising. |

Take time prior to meeting with an advisor to review the Fall Semester 2010 credit schedule of courses using Section Search. |

Advisors will be available on a first-come, first-served walk-in basis in the Advising Center on the dates and times listed below. Depending on advisor availability and walk-in traffic, some wait time may be required. Please note your program area and the dates and times an advisor from that area will be available. The Advising Center will continue to take walk-in students until the capacity for the day has been reached. The Advising Center is located in the Phail Wynn, Jr. Student Services building on Main Campus, room 1200, second floor.

Walk-in Advising for Visiting Students |
| Available for visiting students exempt from ConnectSessions (completed 12 or more transferrable credits of college level course work) and returning visiting students. Advisors will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Online Advising is also available to those who meet the requirements. Registration begins July 19 for visiting students who have meet with an academic advisor. |
