The BioPharma Boot Camp, is a pre-BioPharma training program which will introduce students to opportunities in the Biotechnology industry. It’s up to every individual. BioPharma Boot Camp is geered to students who have the desire to know more about the field of B iotechnology. Also, it targets students who have been out of school for a long time and need to strengthen and improve math, science and computer skills.

Yes, the program offers approximately 20 hours in math, chemistry, and biology in a lab setting. Lab time will help you become familiarized with a lab environment and the equipment.

1. Must be 18 years of age or older;
2. Must have a high school diploma or GED;
3. Demonstrate appropriate reading level (COMPASS 54 or ASSET 35) and math level (COMPASS 27 or ASSET 36). Placement tests are offered by the DTCC Placement Testing Center; and
4. Must have the desire to know more about the field of Biotechnology.

The BioPharma Boot Camp is FREE for qualified participants*** or $69.00 if you do not qualify . A $5.00 material fee is required from all students, irrespective of qualification.

1. Currently unemployed.
2. Received notification of a pending layoff.
3. Working and eligible for the Federal Earned Income Tax Credit. W orking and earn wages at or below two hundred percent (200%) of the federal poverty guidelines.
