Adjunct Chemistry Instructors: Fall semester; day and evening. Classes begin August 18. Masterís degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the subject area required. Teaching experience is preferred.

Adjunct Developmental English/Reading Instructors: Fall semester; day and evening. Classes begin August 18. Masterís degree in reading, English, or a related subject area preferred. Experience with teaching an integrated course is also preferred.

Adjunct Medical Office Administration Instructors: Fall semester; Monday/Tuesday day classes starting August 18. Bachelorís Degree in Biology, or related subject, with at least 18 hours in related science to teach Medical Terminology required. Teaching experience is preferred.

Adjunct Office Administration Instructors: Fall semester; day. Classes begin August 18. Bachelorís Degree in Business Education with emphasis on teaching in Office Systems Technologies required. Teaching experience is preferred. Courses will be taught on the Orange County Campus.

Adjunct Physical Education Instructor: Fall semester; day and evening. Classes begin August 18. Masterís degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the subject area required. Teaching experience is preferred.

Adjunct Spanish Instructor: Fall semester; day and evening. Classes begin August 18. Masterís degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Spanish required. Teaching experience is preferred.

Basic Activity Director Instructor: Responsible for providing quality instruction using the Team Concept, working with a Nurse and/or Social Worker, and for ensuring course content meets the requirements of the NC Community College System. A maximum of a 15-hour work week as determined by the supervisor to allow the employee to fulfill the assigned duties and responsibilities. Requirements: Certified with the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP) and at least three years full-time experience as a Director or Consultant of Activities within the past five years in a state licensed health care facility, preferably with classroom teaching experience.

Nursing Assistant Instructor: BSN degree required. Minimum of two (2) calendar years of work experience in direct patient care as a registered nurse. At least one (1) of the years of direct care experience must be in care of the elderly or chronically ill of any age. The instructor must have a minimum of one (1) year experience in successfully teaching or training adult learners.
