There are several steps that must be completed in order to qualify for entry into the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program. These involve first completing the enrollment process to be admitted into Durham Tech, then meeting the requirements specific to Health Technology programs and to the Occupational Therapy Assistant associate degree.
The OTA program has a full waiting list for 2013 and 2014. Beginning with the class that will start the program in 2015, students may have to meet additional admission requirements as the program moves to a more selective admissions process. If you are interested in the OTA program, please use the current Admissions Checklist to guide you in qualifying for the program. Any additional requirements that are put in place will be communicated to all students on the waiting list as soon as they are determined.
Please review the following information:
|Application Date||Decision Date||Orientation Date||Start Term|
|May 15 – August 15||October 1||February 15||Summer|
If you have questions about admissions requirements after reviewing the above information, you may contact Sue Cheng, program director at firstname.lastname@example.org or Johanna Brown, admissions counselor at email@example.com or attend an information session.
